Big Al’s in Vancouver has many different aspects to appeal to singles and families. The main attraction is their bowling center and game area–both are magnets for young children especially during the summer. Kids bowl for free during the summer which is a great incentive to bring the younger generation into an exciting and long-term sport. The downside, coaches are not available to teach the kids and as such the term “bowling” takes on a totally different meaning. If you are a serious bowler, expecting lane courtesy and prepared approaches and lanes surfaces–avoid this center. If you are looking for a good time for the family–this is certainly the place to be. The arcade center offers many different games and reasonably rewards their players for their achievements. The center features a huge “sports bar” with an area for families and a large area for those 21 and older. Virtually any sport is being shown on one of their widescreen televisions.
